As you said -...Love the pictures...and the message. As you said -- "It's spot on!" You have to love writing to push through. AND every success that touches you (the writer) grows you more and more. This was a great message! I was told years ago, write what you love...and never give up. It's worked for me. When going through a downhill cycle it's hard to believe things will get better. But it does...and when it does, it is so worth pushing through. Thankfully winter is on its way out and I am moving forward.

You are not a no-body. Maybe not famous, but you have fans and friends and I think your books are wonderful. Genuinely wonderful. My grandson loves Hippo Bottomless, and your new Punch book. I know they are good. He doesn't sit still for anything, but those two books. That should tell you something.

Chin up! I right there next to you fighting the good fight. You can do it. I can say that easily now because my dad died many years ago, but it took a long time to feel like myself again.

I can’t help with the promotional side of things other than to say just keep doing what you are doing. Your books are beautiful and if there is any justice in this world, you will sell heaps and become very famous. :)
Barbarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05962552429792516213noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3813968394302283378.post-26582922003389401832016-03-25T08:14:48.448-05:002016-03-25T08:14:48.448-05:00Selling books is tough. The kids murmured, "That's Kelly Hashway" as I walked down the hall. They had read all of my children's books, which were displayed in their library. And a bulletin board displayed my covers and pictures of the students reading my books. It felt amazing. I may not be a huge success, but in that school on that day, I was.Kelly Hashwayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13936313159809041986noreply@blogger.com
