Name that Picture

Ok, I have to admit I'm not feeling very inspired these days. My mind just isn't coming up with any good ideas to write about. So I decided to get on the wonderful world wide web and look at pictures. I've done this before and it really works. Just looking at a picture that is mystical, funny and cute, or mysterious has given me magical inspirational ideas.

So I decided to just have some fun this week and picked out several pictures I thought were really cool. Let's see what kind of inspiration we can come up with. If you feel like playing, pick one or two of your favorites and just tell me either what you would write about from this picture or what you would title the picture.

  1. You did find plenty of pictures. Some gave me book title ideas. A lot of times when I write a novel, the title comes first...not always, but sometimes.

#2 jumped right out to me -- Death Lurking ... or ... Hidden in the Tunnels. (remember I write romantic suspense).

If I wrote children's books - all of these pictures would probably speak to me.

#9 said: Mother Nature--Hidden in Plain Sight.

Thank you for the fun you gave me this morning and sharing your picture scanning with me.

  2. Wow, Deb, good job! I didn't see Death at all in #2 but now that you mention it... And love what you came up with on #9. Good job!

  3. I loved so many of these.

#12 though was the one that gave me an instant idea. Mother Nature, the Return. She is not happy with how we are treating her earth, so she rises from within and comes back to teach us a lesson. I see a short story coming...dont take my idea anyone! :)

I loved what you saw in that picture! So clever and imaginative! You go girl!

  7. What great pictures! I was intrigued by number 6, not sure I can put my finger on why, and number 9 - probably because trees figure prominently into many of my stories.

  9. Great idea, my favorite is the one with the horse, since I'm partial to them anyway. Maybe the horse has magic powers so he and the young lady are forever connected because of their adventures together.
