Picture Book Giveaway

In celebration of my new picture book Hippo Bottomless coming out, I'd like to do a free giveaway. This book would be great for kids 3-8 yrs of age. It's a fun book and might even teach your child a thing or two about swimming. But mostly about sticking to your guns and you'll get whatever it is you're trying to accomplish.

All you need to do is make sure you are a follower of my blog, leave a comment telling me what your favorite animal is and why. I'll randomly select a winner and announce it on next weeks blog. The lucky winner will receive a free signed copy of the book as well as a mini-stuffed hippo.

Of course if you'd rather purchase a copy, it is now availabe on amazon.com or you can purchase a signed copy from me!

  1. My favorite animal is a dog. I'm a dog person. :) I think my daughter would love your book, even if she is pushing the picture book age range now. She's getting so big! She still loves them though, because really who doesn't love a good picture book, right?

    1. I agree, Kelly. Even big fat, old adults like me still love picture books! My favorite animal is a dog too, by the way. Love them to death!

  2. Hi Allyn,
I love horses. Not only are they beautiful but they are loyal, compassionate like other animals, want only to please, strong, and intelligent.

Most people don't understand this & think they have to be beat to get them to do anything. Since they are usually in a stall when this happens, the horse can't use their natural flight system. So they fight whoever is harming the see noble beasts.

    1. I love horses too. They are so beautiful. I used to ride them a lot when I was young. I never was lucky enough to be around one long enough to really figure them out though.

  3. Horses and dogs, have them and love them. But owls are my absolute favorite. My grand mother (Native American) believed they were a bad spirit, but I've always thought of them as a silent watcher in the night. As a kid, I spent a lot of time in the woods, and their calls were comforting.

  4. Aw, my tiny dancer!

Jaguars are actually my favorite all time animal. But, don't put me in the contest. I already have several books and although I intend to order one or two more, I will do so the conventional way.

    1. You would have to be different, wouldn't you, Courtney! ha ha. Actually, Jaguars are gorgeous to look at but I wouldn't want to meet one in the wild. However, I'd love to get my body into a Jaguar automobile!!

  5. Choosing just one animal is impossible for me-I love them all-for the joy and beauty they bring to my life. But dogs, cats, horses, birds, elephants, and goats rate at the top of my list. Congratulations on your book! It looks adorable!
