Giveaway and Never Give Up!

Hello everyone! First I'd like to tell everyone that I am doing a blog tour this month on sporatic days so I can't give you definite dates at this time. But don't worry, I'll let you know when they come up. The first stop on my tour is at Sweeps4Bloggers.com where she has done a review of my book The Pea in Peanut Butter and sponsoring a giveaway. Check it out for your chance to win a copy of my book. http://sweeps4bloggers.com/2012/03/giveaway-the-pea-in-peanut-butter-by-allyn-stotz-ends-31812/

Now to move on.

As I sat contemplating on what to write for today's blog, I realized I was feeling a bit depressed about the lack of what's been going on in my writing career so far this year. Then I went to the mailbox. And I bet most of you writer's can guess what was in there! Yep... another rejection. So I thought today I would pass on an article I came across on Dawn Kinzers site, Seriously Write. This article made me feel so much better and reassured me that I am definitely not in this alone. It helps to hear that other writers struggle, just like me, but they never gave up and ultimately their indeavors paid off.

So I am sharing that article with you, written by Renee Andrews where she interviewed several other authors that share their struggling efforts. I hope you enjoy this article and maybe some of you that are going through your own struggles, will feel a bit better after reading it. Happy reading! Here's the link.

  7. Thanks for your comments Kelly, Maria & Ishta. And you don't have to worry, Ishta, you are definitely not alone in your waiting and wondering. We all are in the same boat as far as that goes. That part of it is definitely no fun!
