Spotlight on Author, Deborah Lynne

For those of  you who are avid fans of author, Deborah Lynne, and those of you who will soon be, she has a new book coming out titled After Your Gone. I'd like to introduce to you her new cover and a bit about the book. Isn't the cover gorgeous? I've read all of her books (8 in total) and they are all fabulous. She normally writes inspirational suspense with a twist of romance but this new book is strictly inspirational romance. I for one can't wait to read it!

And one of you can also have a chance to read it because she is giving an autographed copy away. All that's required is you follow my blog (if you are not already a follower) and comment. Each comment counts as a chance to win. I will announce the winner on next Thursdays post.

The day Melilla Vasquez, curator of The San Francisco Institution of Art, has dreamed of has finally arrived. She’s worked hard to see the new Native American art exhibit, which showcases her own Navajo lineage, come to fruition. To add to her joy, she’ll be allowed to display a couple of her own paintings…the big break she’s waited for as an artist ever since college.

Then Lila receives a phone call that will change her world forever. Victoria, her old college roommate and a very wealthy woman, is dying. She trusts no one but Lila to raise Kaitlin, her baby, after she’s gone. But can Lila, a single woman, raise a child on her own? What about all the big plans she has for her career? Even more, choosing to help her friend means facing the only man she’s ever loved—Joseph Neal Rodman III, Vicky’s brother. Can her heart survive seeing him again? And can she live with herself if she doesn’t at least try?

Ten years ago he stole her heart…then crushed it.

Now she’s gazing into his blue eyes again.

Dare she hope that things could

turn out differently this time?

A heartfelt romance that will tingle your toes!

    1. Thank you, Gina. I know God is looking down on me, and leading me in my writing. The thought Scott is too, touched me deeply. Two weeks ago we thought we'd have a few more years to enjoy my career together and where it is taking me. God sees the big picture and brought Scott home to heaven. It's heart wrenching to sit in our home alone missing him so much. I love him so much and these past 3 years we've spent practically 24/7 together. It was wonderful. His poor health in the end was hard to see, making him suffer. I know he's pain free now. Thank you for your kind words. It's a beautiful thought to think he's watching me too. God bless you.

    1. Thanks Courtney. I'm glad God put writing in my heart. The passion will keep me going. The good author fight has helped me through this rollercoaster I'm on. Sad for me and my kids, yet glad for Scott. I'll always miss him, and hopefully each day will get easier. (still waiting) Take care.

  7. Congratulations on the new book Deborah. Do you think it's part of God's plan that "After You're Gone" comes out at such a painful time in your own life? Through your words you can encourage others. I'm sure a lot of what you and Scott were going through yourselves comes out in your words. I've read Be Not Afraid and am on to the others. After Your Gone is up next, however, as it sounds like your tackled something a bit different. Can't wait to read it.

And I'm also sure that Scott is proud of his word smith and what she's been able to accomplish. You are truly a wonderful inspiration.
